It seems that Wiglet (also known as Bryn) has three modes so far:
1) Eat
2) Sleep
3) Tae Kwon Do
When not eating or sleeping he kicks and punches with all four limbs at once for an hour or two at a time.

Well I was sort of busy for the past couple of months. Here’s a synopsis:
My SO had a baby! It’s a boy, named Bryn Youguang. Yes, he’s probably the only Celtic/Chinese named child on the planet. My SO was disappointed on two counts: 1) He was a he not a she. 2) He doesn’t look Chinese at all. He looks like my Aunt Sandra and Grandmother and me. Red hair and fair skin. In other words my Chinese SO gave birth to a German baby.
Before the baby was born I was busy making sure that my SO’s nesting instinct was satisfied. For the past few weeks I’ve been sort of busy lately learning to deal with a baby and still remain sane. It’s been easier than I thought it would be. Bryn is remarkably calm and easy going. He doesn’t even cry unless he’s hungry and that’s only every three or four hours.
So to wrap up, new human in the house. I sort of have a schedule again so I can blog more…

We (the SO and I) went to her OB-GYN office the yesterday and talked with a nurse, had an listen to the baby’s heartbeat (whoosh-ka, whoosh-ka, whoosh-ka…), and then met with their “financial adviser”. We got great news the ten-dollar co-pay that we paid yesterday is all that we’ll have to pay. Her health care plan covers 100% of everything, tests, visits, delivery, hospital stay, absolutely everything, the financial adviser said that she was very surprised. I mentioned that the SO works for “a Norwegian company, Yay Socialists!”.

Went to the grocery store and came home to find that I had an extra bag of stuff. The extra bag of groceries contained a can of Edge shaving gel, a can of biscuits, and last but certainly not least, 2 pounds of $17 dollar/lb angus terderloin. It belonged to the couple checking out ahead of me but somehow it would up in my buggy. So tomorrow it’s beef day!
