It’s Party Time

Actually it was party time yesterday. I got to go to a reception held by the mayor of Stavanger, Norway, Leif Johan Sevland (the big guy on the left). Nice guy, he gave a speech about how nice Stavanger is, how they’re spending 350M Krone for the upcoming celebration “Cultural City of Europe, 2008″ (that’s about 39M USD).

It’s Five O’clock Somewhere

My current beverage of choice is Sierra Nevada Porter. It’s not as smooth as Murphy’s Stout. but since my local store quit carrying Murphy’s and Young’s Double Chocolate Stout I make do with what I can get. Poor me. :)
